Trailer: Twixt (Francis Ford Coppola, 2011)

I have been trying to resist trailers recently, but when I saw that footage of Francis Ford Coppola's new film (which is playing amongst the Special Presentations at TIFF) was available, I had to have a look. With Val Kilmer starring as a character resembling Stephen King, it looks...interesting. Check it out below, but be aware, it does reveal quite a lot.

  1. I gotta give Francis Ford Coppola some credit for trying out new things at his old age and continue to make films that is personal to him. Yet, it also seems like something that could be fun as he wants to go for a live cinema event with live music by Dan Deacon for some screenings. I hope he does one in Atlanta.

  2. are you sure that it even reveals anything andy? my instinct on this one is that it is hinting at things but that the plot is extremely well hidden by the trailer.

  3. Yeah, you could be right Toby! I dunno, about a minute of the trailer is a single clip! I'm intrigued, and I love 'some' of Coppola's films. I mean, the guy directed The Godfather and Apocalypse Now.
